What i'm working on

1. 🎓 I am an A-Level student studying in KYUEM. I'm finishing my course in 2021 and am aiming to enter UPenn or Harvard by the fall of 2021.
2. ✍️ On my personal website, I write about my personal productivity methods, share my notes on books I've read and explore some life-changing insights I've had the privilege to stumble upon.
3. 🎮 I am currently learning coding online. I have grasped the basics of HTML using this 2-hour long video by FreeCodeCamp. Currently learning the basics of Python before moving on to CSS and JS.
4. 🖥️ In my free time, I freelance as a Website designer and I design pretty-looking websites for clients.
5. 🌐 I've recently joined the AMEU College Ambassador Program.
6. 💌Recently, I've started a weekly newsletter called Sunday Scoop🍨 where I share :-
- A short article on a few life lessons I've picked up/productivity method I'm experimenting within the week
- Links to the favourite contents I consumed that week
- A question to ponder on for the week (or a challenge if I'm feeling cheeky!)

If this seems interesting to you, feel free to subscribe to my email newsletter here!

Here are a few projects that I've been working on for fun and for experience.

Project KYVID
a. This project was the result of a random conversation with my project partner. We were initially talking about SAT results and how badly the US has been affected by COVID-19.
b. The idea then sprung upon us to raise funds for Malaysian families who have lost their livelihood due to the MCO.
c. We then proceeded to gain approval from our college before starting the fundraising process. Due to the generosity of the KYUEM student population, we managed to raise MYR11,340.00 in total.
d. All proceeds were donated to The Lost Food Project.

a. This was the first website I ever designed. Took quite a long time but had an absolute blast learning how to make things look professional.
b. Click here to see the website.

a. The first ECommerce Store I developed for a friend of mine. Took ages as well because there were so many products and various components to take into account to ensure the layout is intuitive and the user experience is seamless. (One of my key takeaways from Walter Isaacson's Steve Jobs)
b. Check out the website here

a. In the wake of the George Floyd incident, my friend and I had the idea to provide a platform for Malaysians to learn about the racial issues prevalent here in Malaysia.
b. However, this project is temporarily halted due to the sensitive nature of the issue.
c. The draft website is available for viewing here

a. A couple of my friends and I got together and thought that it would be a great idea if we could send out free email newsletter every week, covering the top economic news around the world and relating it to the topics covered in A-Level syllabus.
b. This will help many student solidify the justification in their economics essay.

1. Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson
2. How to be an Antiracist by Ibram X. Kendi

1. Not Overthinking by Ali and Taimur Abdaal
2. Today Explained by Vox
3. The Ground Up Show by Matt D'Avella

Born A Crime by Trevor Noah (hands down!)

life compasses

This section gives you a little insight into the core values and principles that I hold closest to heart and I consciously try to apply them in everything that I do. It also serves as a litmus test to determine our compatibility in working together. If we are of the same frequency, I'd be more than eager to know more about you and perhaps even work on something together further down the line!

Work Ethic - Outwork Everyone.
Kindness - Be a little kinder than necessary.
Consciousness - Question your thought processes constantly and keep your ego in check.
Practical - Never give less than your best but if things turn out the other way, don't lament. Learn.
Growth Mindset - Be grateful and appreciative of where you are at but never, never be blindly complacent. Actively seek opportunities to grow and improve.

This is a section where I shortlist the top 5 things that I've had the privilege to stumble upon that have resonated deeply with me, stuck with me and has shaped my thought process throughout the years. It ranges from books to quotes to music and videos.

1. If by Rudyard Kipling
2. "It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice." - Dwayne Johnson
3. Kobe Bryant's Mamba Mentality
4. Dwayne Johnson's Two Hand Philosophy
5."He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how" -Friedrich Nietzsche

get in touch

If you have any enquiries or you wish to get in touch, don't hesitate do drop me a text or fire an email my way! Feel free to call me but please understand that in my efforts to be a self-professed productivity guru, my phone is currently on Do Not Disturb mode 24/7. Hence, the chance of me picking up a call is pretty minimal, but hey, there's no harm trying! Alternatively, send me a DM on my Instagram for a faster reply. Looking forward to hear from you soon!
